Who ever said a designer should specialize in one thing? I’m Vanessa and I’m a knitter/jeweller/photographer/seamstress/interior designer/glass blower/needle felter/stenciler, and I only expect that list to get longer as time goes on. My location changes about as much as my craft of choice, so I’ve decided to document my various works and adventures here. Every once in awhile, I’ll put something up for sale on my etsy, but I’m almost always up to do special orders and commissions.

I love things that are cute, original, or just plain weird. My mantra is that if I can make just one person smile a day, I have done my job as a designer. I am not here to solve world hunger, feed the poor, or save the animals; I am only here to brighten your day, so I hope your time here will reflect that.

A little bit about me: I’m a 20 year old native New Yorker with a fantastic husband and a dream of raising a herd of chinchillas. I have never driven a car, nor do I plan to, unless it’s a completely electric Mini Cooper. I love the smell of office supplies and butter popcorn. I am a vegetarian libertarian. I believe in the human scale and grassroots movements. I have a weakness for dollar stores. I don’t ever want to be rich, because I hate what it does to people– but I would one day love to own a house and a yarn store in New Hampshire with my husband, a bunch of kids, and the chinchillas.
