this is a simplified mitten version of my how now space cow armwarmers. there is no mini-cabling in the band, and the top of the mitt features an easy sloped decrease. the pattern was written for String in New York, for use mostly with their exclusive Koigu Cashmere (but it would also work in Kersti). the pattern is available for free with purchase of yarn from String. please contact them with questions about ordering (i would still be happy to answer questions about the pattern itself)
